A Journey from Factory to Forever Home 

Greenhaven Homes has featured on Moving Houses on TVNZ 1, and we couldn’t be prouder! The episode follows the journey of our clients, Pat and Dani, as their new Greenhaven Tararua home makes its way from our Levin factory to its final location in the Wairarapa. The episode offers a rare glimpse behind the scenes of what it takes to relocate a fully constructed transportable home, something we’ve honed over more than a decade of building smarter for New Zealanders.

The home featured in this episode is the Tararua, a spacious three-bedroom design created to make the most of natural light, views and seamless indoor-outdoor flow. From the initial planning stages to the final placement on site, every step of the build is considered, coordinated and executed with care. 

Transporting a completed home from the Kāpiti Coast over the Saddle Road is no small task, especially with a home of this size. Our team is highly experienced, having completed many moves over the years. But behind each successful delivery is a huge amount of planning and coordination – every turn, clearance and crossing is carefully mapped out. 

Watching the home arrive and take its place on site is a proud moment for our team especially for Todd, Greenhaven’s owner, who was on the ground with Pat and Dani, as he is with all our homes on moving day.
